Ethan recently competed in South Dakota at the Geobowl, a buzzer and bell trivia tournament. His team won the final and were the highest scoring team overall! He was chosen to represent BYU at nationals in Hawaii in April 2024.

"My advice would be to go out of your way to meet new people. I'm normally not outgoing but I got my full-time job at Esri by scheduling meetings with people during my internship and finding out what they did and which teams I wanted to work with. A second piece of advice would be to learn how to learn and never stop learning. Always look for training opportunities formal and informal."

Alicia Seeley, former active duty for the Army National Guard and a graduate of BYU in Geography: Urban Planning is in her first semester at Harvard University Graduate School of Design: The Department of Urban Planning and Design. Alicia talks about her journey to go to school, graduate, and then go to school again since she never felt like she was going to go to school in the first place. She shares thoughts about qualifying experiences and walks students through other admissions/networking tips and tricks for shy students.

Kari is always open for new adventures and encourages students to take risks in order to get what they want.
