What do you love most about Geography?
"I have been trying for years to get someone to make me the geography pep squad. Because I love it that much, its where I've found a place at BYU. I joke that geography is the Windex of subjects because it applies to literally everything."

What led you to choose Geography as your major?
"As someone with lots of interests, it was hard to pick a major, but as I started taking geography classes I realized how it applies to other interests like psychology, womens studies, civic engagment and even my love of trader joes, and estate sells! Geography teaches me about how the physical environment shapes humanity."

What led you to choose Urban Planning as your emphasis?
"After living in the Netherlands I came to understand how good planning can affect a society. One of the resons that I love the Urban Planning emphasis, is how we can build an enviorment that fosters community and belonging. I love traveling, but I also love being here in Provo, attending random city events, and experiencing community".
