Scholarships

What's available:

  1. L. Elliott Tuttle Scholarship: for outstanding seniors in the field of Geography. This includes both seniors at the time of the application deadline and juniors who will be seniors during the year which the scholarship will apply to. This scholarship specifically recognizes academic excellence. Consideration also given to financial need.
  2. Karen Mittleman Scholarship: for undergraduate students majoring in Geography. Preference given to non-freshman female students.
  3. Dale Stevens Scholarship: for Geography majors who demonstrate financial need.
  4. Amanda Hardin Scholarship: for GIS, Geo-Spatial Science and Technology, and Geo-Spatial Intelligence ONLY.
  5. Mary Ann Kimber Endowment: for Geography majors who demonstrate financial need, especially to enable experiential learning opportunities.
  6. Haslam Family Endowment: for Geography majors, especially to enable experiential learning opportunities using GIS.
  7. Garner Fund: for Geography majors who demonstrate financial need.

**Note: you must be registered for at least 12 credit hours during each semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year to maintain your scholarship status.
