Dr. Grayson Morgan is a faculty member in the Department of Geography at Brigham Young University in Provo. His research focuses on geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, UAV/drone applications, and deep learning, with an emphasis on applying advanced geospatial technologies to real-world problems. His teaching interests include GIS, remote sensing, UAV/drone technologies, and East Asia. Dr. Morgan is committed to engaging students through applied learning and emerging geospatial methods.
He is an active member of the American Geophysical Union; the American Association of Geographers and its GIS and Remote Sensing Specialty Groups; the National Council for Geographic Education; and the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
He loves his family and spending time with them, especially at South Carolina beaches.
